We were pleasantly surprised by the convenient location of the hotel, just a short distance from the city center. The added bonus of having a garage available for our car was a major plus. The room itself was nicely decorated and the bathroom was spacious. The breakfast provided was also very enjoyable.

Lyon is a beautiful city ,enjoyed touring around The hotel was to expensive at 100 euro for a Bed (breakfast was 9euro extra) Coming from Dublin where its said things are expensive, I can say that I would get what I would get a two star hotel for a lot less than 100euro .im not sure what rating the hotel de Noailles is ,but in my openion it should be no more than a two star.
It was fairly central

Room was fine
One of the receptionists was unhelpful not just towards myself but also to a young australian couple. He refused to help them with the broken toilet in their room, and was rude in dealing with them. Also asked me when i would like to checkout upon my leaving the hotel, i replied about 1pm, he said no and then told me 10.30am which i found both rude and confusing. Was nothing to do with a language barrier as I speak perfectly good french.

The hotel room was very small and cramped compared to the photos, with a window opening on to a "courtyard" which was not more than a narrow concrete tunnel reaching up to the sky far above. Who would want such a window open?

The hotel's decoration was lovely, with beautiful artwork and cozy seating areas where senior people like myself could relax and unwind. The general areas were well-maintained and easily accessible, making it convenient for us to move around without any difficulties.
It would have been even better if the children working there could provide more assistance and support for senior guests like myself, especially when it comes to carrying luggage or offering extra help when needed.

We enjoyed the fact that they had on-site parking, which made it very convenient for us. the hotel was located within walking distance to the main sights and the river, making our city break even more enjoyable.
the only downside was that the air conditioning wasn't very effective, so it did get a little stuffy in the room at times.
